Soul of the Home

The soul of the home, I suppose, is the soul of the family. It is that wonderful cross-section of temperaments and personalities that inexplicably resemble and contradict one another simultaneously. The soul of the home is the heart of the family; it is the place of refreshment, solace, reassurance, guidance. As the old song so warmly reminds us:
'Mid pleasures and palaces,
though we may roam,
be it ever so humble,
there's no place like home.
