Alma Mater: Well, Firstborn, you are NINE years old now.
You know, that is half way to eighteen!

Firstborn: Yeah. Hey, Sunshine is halfway to twelve.
And, ahh, Rosebud will be halfway to eight.
Little Queen is halfway to two.

Alma Mater: No, she is half way to one and a half.

Firstborn: Oh, yeah. Now, how old are you again, Mom?

Alma Mater: Oh, well, that isn't so important. HALFWAY
to EIGHTEEN, Firstborn!

Sunshine: I remember, she's 34!!!

Firstborn: Thirrrrty fooourrr...let's see...

Almamater: Well, now. What a fun birthday you had. We
should...

Firstborn: SIXTY-EIGHT!!! Your half way to SIXTY
EIGHT!!! Now, what about Dad?

Alma Mater: You really know how to brighten a person's
day, Firstborn. Why don't we leave Dad out
of this? Instead, we could...

Firstborn: SEVENTY! Yes, that is is, Dad is half way to
seventy!

Alma Mater: Say, I thought we were working on fractions
in your math book right now. That's school work! This is no time
