A recent conversation I overheard between 8yo Firstborn and 6yo Sunshine regarding the merits of our dear friend Mrs. H's very clean and organized house versus the merits of our less clean and organized house:
Sunshine: I like Mrs. H's house; it is so clean.
Firstborn: Nooo, Sunshine. I like ours; it is homier and our things are more around us.
Sunshine: But, Mrs. H's is so pretty and neat.
Firstborn: No, no, no. Their house is too presidential; ours' feels more like home.
