The overwhelming urge has struck. Yesterday as I walked through the house, I found the little stacks of books and papers, the shedding new wool rug, the toothpaste in the sink and all the other "little messes" around the house suddenly and utterly intolerable. This is a good sign. A very good sign.
Coincidentally my dear friend Jennifer called this morning offering to take all four children for the afternoon and evening so that I could focus on nesting and enjoy a quiet dinner with The Prof. Invitation accepted. Much nesting accomplished. Dinner serenely delicious. We've got wonderful friends.
The nesting isn't done yet, but I sure made a meaningful dent in the mountain of laundry, my room is nearly ready for vacuuming and the bathrooms are pretty much clean. A couple of more days and I will truly be ready.
I checked on the date of the next full moon: June 18. We are not waiting that long. No way. I am too swollen, too hot and waaay to anxious to find out who is in there. The consistent guess from the grocery store clerk to neighbors is that "it" is a boy. If insatiable cravings for steak are any indicator, it would seem they may be right.
Well I'd best be off to bed. Maybe tonight will be the night. The Prof can vacuum while I am in early labor if need be.

Anxiously awaiting your news!
Ditto!
In the spirit of the electoral year, I vote for a boy. Hope that helps.
Waiting for your news here, too. I think our high temp was 63 today. I would happily trade places with you for a while! My flowers need some sun!!
