{more daybooks here}
Outside my window...dark & cloudy (I usually enjoy seeing the moon from my computer desk, but it is not visible tonight) Autumn was certainly in the air this afternoon; the children had Baby Juju out for a walk and asked for a blanket to put on her!
I am thinking...about how to be authentically modest & feminine
I am thankful ...for all that The Prof does for us. Truly. He takes such good care of us and takes his responsibility so seriously.
From the learning rooms...I am thinking---knowing---that we need a Latin tutor for Firstborn. I really can't answer the difficult questions and he's getting frustrated.
From the kitchen...Lots of keepers on our new menu! Everyone enjoyed Beef-Orange Stir fry and the new Tuna Casserole recipe and even the Anytime Breakfast Sandwiches that included spinach.
I am wearing...black (maternity) skirt and black ground + pink floral blouse
I am creating...an invitation for an autumn camp-out and drafts for saint costumes
I am going...on a walk with the children in the morning. We've been running behind the last few mornings and haven't been doing this, but tomorrow there is a walk to start out the day for certain.
I am reading...Eight Cousins by Louisa May Alcott to the girls on the days that Firstborn is of practicing the organ AND Shaking the Nickel Bush by Ralph Moody to the whole clan
I am hoping...
I am hearing...mostly silence, but for the distant songs of Rigoletto coming from the downstairs
Around the house cleaning out closets. I just can't keep saving all the outgrown clothes from every season and every size so off to the resale shop they go.
One of my favorite things...nightly rosary and dessert with the whole family
A few plans for the rest of the week: Oh my! Another AHG service project, a birthday party, Thurifer training for Firstborn and signing up for some volunteer work at that historic farm we visited last week. Feels busy, but still comfortable.
Here is picture for thought I am sharing...
